IBO Business Training Series

System Principles

Dear Sunrider Business Leader,

Here are some solid principles you can build your business on ...

People have more value than marketing plans and products.   It is so easy to get distracted from the core issue of our business ... the people in your network ... and start focusing on you, Sunrider, training, problems or whatever.  What you focus on will be a reflection of your future in Sunrider.   Your future will be written by the success of the people in your network.

Once you get the person right they can not only do this business but excel in life.   This is a business of helping people get it right ... and when they get it right, they will get all of life right and you will have a successful network.

It is better to listen for the need rather than attack people from your needs.  This is the foundation of your business, listening to needs instead of building because your needs.  It is true that you need to know what is it personally that you want to achieve in your life, but once you have that passion firmly established in your mind and heart, the success of you achieving your dream will come in you helping others achieve their dreams.

Width creates profits; depth creates security.  As you build wide1, you are insuring your future profitability.  Your profitability will be determined by your rank2, which is determined by the number of qualified Business Leaders you have personally sponsored.  As you help your business building IBOs go deep3, you will insure your security.  This creates security because the deeper a leg4 or organization5 goes, or the more business builders you have in a leg, the less likely that leg will ever stop producing profits for you.

  1. Wide refers to the number of IBOs you personally sponsor who are working to build their own Sunrider business.
  2. Rank refers to the levels of achievement, such as Business Leader, Group Business Leader, Master Business Leader, etc.  The higher the rank, the larger the percentage of payout, and the deeper in your organization you are paid.
  3. Deep refers to how many levels deep your business building IBO Business Leaders go.
  4. A Leg refers to one business-building IBO you sponsored and all IBO Business Leaders in their downline.
  5. An Organization is a combination of all your IBO legs.

Go deep and build wide.  Too often after you get a leg or organization going, it is easy to just visit them and hold meetings or training.  As a leader, you must always set the example by creating new IBOs.  You do this when you, as the leader, go deep into your organization.  The first thing you want to do with your IBO leaders is to create width with and for them.  The only way you can create width with them is to help them sponsor a new IBO.  So when visiting your downline, give a Sunrider presentation with them first, then train and socialize later. This is the main focus of all leadership - creating new Business Owners by going deep and building wide.

A typical agenda when working with a downline leader, whether first, second, fifth, or tenth level would be:

  •  Meet and give an Opportunity Presentation to a new prospect for your downline IBO.
  •  Give several presentations with their downline IBOs and their new contacts.  This is especially true with newer IBOs as they are getting experience.  After they can do it on their own, your visits should be less frequent and you would then be able to focus your attention on finding and building new IBO organizations.
  • Follow up by inviting new prospects and newly-sponsored IBOs to a meeting where you will cover topics such as product knowledge and usage, how the marketing plan works, as well as answering questions they may have.

Sincerely,

Paul Jensen
